Day 01 – Pinnawala & Dambulla
Location:
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Pinnawala
Dambulla Cave Temple, Dambulla
Sigiriya (overnight stay)
Activities:
Early morning departure at 7:00 am from your hotel.
Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, watch milk feeding of baby elephants (9:15–9:45 am) and elephant bathing at the river (10:00 am–12:00 pm).
Drive to Sigiriya via Kurunegala, stopping for lunch en route.
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple (Golden Temple) with Buddha statues and rock paintings.
Transfer to your hotel in Sigiriya for overnight stay.
Highlights:
Close encounters with baby elephants and adult elephants at Pinnawala.
Explore Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 2,500 years of history.
Scenic drive through central Sri Lanka countryside.
Day 02 – Anuradhapura & Mihintale
Location:

Sigiriya (overnight stay)
Activities:
After breakfast, depart for Anuradhapura.
Visit Sri Maha Bodhi (oldest tree in the world), Ruwanweli Maha Seya Stupa, Thuparama Dagoba, Brazen Palace, and other ancient ruins.
Stop for lunch, then visit Mihintale monastery complex.
Visit Aukana to see Sri Lanka’s tallest granite Buddha statue (13 meters high).
Return to Sigiriya for overnight stay.

Day 03 – Polonnaruwa & Minneriya Jeep Safari

Activities:
Visit Polonnaruwa, the second capital of Sri Lanka, and explore the 12th-century ruins.
Lunch, then proceed to Minneriya National Park for a Jeep Safari.
Observe elephants, loris monkeys, crocodiles, buffaloes, and a variety of birds in their natural habitat.
Return to Sigiriya hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 – Sigiriya & Kandy
Location:

Overnight stay in Kandy
Activities:
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and view frescoes and water gardens.
Visit a local spice garden and have lunch.
Explore Kandy Lake and enjoy a Cultural Dance Show in the evening.

Day 05 – Kandy
Location:
Temple of the Tooth, Kandy
Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya
Kandy City & shopping
Transfer to Negombo or Colombo
Activities:
Visit the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist site.
Explore Royal Botanical Gardens with over 4,000 plant species and giant fig trees.
Short city walk and shopping experience.
Late afternoon transfer back to Negombo or Colombo.
