The Original Mud house

Our original mud house is made up of a collection of huts that blend together to form a private village-like setting. Inside is a traditional wattle and daub structure.  With a walled master bedroom with a plush double bed, a luggage room, a sitting area, and an extended porch area. But that is not all; we also provide The Nest. Which is a beautiful stilted wooden house with a cozy double bed and beautiful views of the nearby lake. For larger groups or families, the spacious Kumbuk Hut with two comfortable single beds is available. All of our guests have access to the master outdoor bathroom. This includes  twin showers and a western toilet, as well as a private dining hut where you can dine.

The Palu Hut

The Palu Hut is a unique and spacious accommodation option at The Mud House, designed in a striking ‘V’ shape. With four double beds, it’s perfect for groups or large families seeking a comfortable and communal stay. The central living area offers additional sleeping spaces, and there are two jungle showers and western toilets. Relax and unwind in this rustic yet comfortable hut, surrounded by the lush jungle and the sounds of wildlife.

The Maha Gedera

The Maha Gedera is the crown jewel of The Mud House’s lodging options. A large and welcoming square-shaped hut with a beautiful central open courtyard. It’s ideal for larger groups or families, with three double beds and three single beds that can also function as daybeds. Relax indoors in the seating and dining area or outside on the chairs and sun loungers. The Maha Gedera also has the most spacious open-air bathroom of any of the huts, as well as an additional jungle shower in the back.

The Myla Hut

The Myla Hut, located near the peaceful yoga lake, is made up of two separate huts linked by a small path. The main hut has two double beds and a comfortable indoor lounge area, while the newer adjacent hut has a plush double bed. Step outside and enjoy the outdoor jungle shower, or use the covered toilet for some privacy. The Myla Hut is the ideal combination of rustic charm and modern comfort for a family getaway or a romantic retreat.

The Sharma Hut

The Sharma Hut is a large, circular hut that was built in the same spot as our previous Honeymoon Hut. It has one cozy double bed and a private living area, as well as a separate lounge hut nearby ideal for relaxing during the day, which also has two single beds. For added comfort, the hut includes a jungle shower and a covered western toilet. Furthermore, the lounge hut can be equipped with two additional single beds upon request, making it an excellent choice for small groups or families.
