However, for those who are scared of heights or travelling with small children, we also offer traditional tent camping.
Immerse yourself in the real wildlife of the camping area, surrounded by birds, elephants, flowing streams and untouched jungle. We provide comfortable camping beds, clean pillows, and bed linen, with washroom facilities with running water available outside the tents and tree houses.

Yala National Park
Yala National Park, situated approximately 300 kilometres (190 mi) away from Colombo, is the second largest and most popular national park in Sri Lanka. Spanning across an area of 979 square kilometres (378 sq mi). Yala was officially designated as a wildlife sanctuary in the year 1900. In addition, in 1938, it became one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, along with Wilpattu, to receive this recognition. The park is known for its variety of wild animals, including Sri Lankan elephants and aquatic birds.
Yala National Park is home to a diverse range of ecosystems, ranging from moist monsoon forests to freshwater and marine wetlands, earning it a spot as one of the 70 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) in Sri Lanka. Finally, the park harbours 215 bird species, including six endemic species of Sri Lanka, and 44 mammal species, with one of the highest leopard densities in the world.
